Computerized Job Evaluation System
Compared to traditional committee based evaluation processes, the Gauge Job Evaluation
system improves the consistency of decision making, reduces the time and
cost, and reduces the number of appeals. An evaluation typically takes less
than an hour, by a team of job holder, manager and facilitator.
Gauge captures
the logic behind typical evaluation panel deliberations in a set of inter-related
questions, possible responses and their conclusions. Once Gauge can determine
the correct level on a factor, questioning moves to the next factor.
Finally, a Job Overview is generated. Based on this
the evaluation is concluded or revisited.
Gauge Evaluator
Performs on-screen evaluations, provides the capability
to re-evaluate part or all of a job and prints
the Job Overview report. Where more than one
copy of Gauge is in use, evaluation data can
be downloaded and passed to the central Administrator
system.
Gauge Administrator
Provides search, sort, selection, printing and
data management options, in addition to all functionality
of Evaluator.
Gauge Designer
A Grade Designer is also available as an ‘add-on’ to the Administrator
system and allows for grading structures to be modeled; including studying
the impact on the total pay bill, etc.
